The beautiful menu's and stationary are compliments of the amazing people at The Ink Cafe!
This simply elegant cake is from Allison's Pastry Shop is Jefferson City. She took our idea and made it even more beautiful!
The incredible dress and tux were from Belle Mariee Bridal Boutique in Columbia MO.
The amazing hair and makeup is the beautiful work of Gold Dust Salon in Eldon MO,
The absolutely perfect flowers and greenery are from Nephew & Co. I sent them our vision and they turned it into something a thousand time more beautiful.

This shoot is something I had wanted to do for a while so I had approached Amber of Amber Koelling Photography and asked if she would be interested, She then sent me an entire Pinterest board already filled with ideas for an edgy wedding shoot! It was like it was meant to be!!
The unique style of this shoot definitely created some challenges. First of which was the venue. We had somewhere in mind but it turned out to be unavailable. Amber then sent me a link to Warehouse 55 in Eldon. They were still remodeling when we went to view it but from the bits that were finished we could tell that Katie's style was EXACTLY what we were looking for and it was the absolute perfect place to shoot
I then got in touch with Janice from US Rents It in Jefferson City. She was AMAZING! She helped me select exactly what I had in my mind and made it all flow together.
Our go-to florist was Lauren Moscato from River City! She made a gorgeous bouquet that pulled everything together.
All those beautiful menus, invites, table numbers, vows and those super cute pears were done by the one and only Ink Cafe. If you have not checked them out yet, you must!!
FlattyCakes made the cake that was not only beautiful but extremely tasty!
The hair was done by the awesome Jeni Stock and the makeup with by the one and only Paige Fry!! These girls made our bride look absolutely perfect!
The gown and tux came from Ana Maie's and Samule's in Jefferson City. The beautiful jewelry was from Styled by Markie.
Of course Amber Keolling made our visions come to life with the perfect photos!
Last but not least the perfect models and most adorable couple I have ever met is Cassidy Evans & Alan Windsor!
We worked with so many amazing vendors to pull this unique shoot together! We could not have made this happen without them!

It was so much fun to get to plan something like this! Planning a styled shoot was something I had never really thought of before but when the most amazing photographer I know - Amber Koelling, asked me to do this, how could I say no?! She sent me her ideas and I was obsessed! She let me help bring her vision to life with the help of many amazing vendors!
We did this styled wedding shoot at The Legacy Barn in Barnett MO. It is a gorgeous old barn that is true to its age with a hint of elegance. It certainly helped inspire us to go with a more rustic theme while still keeping our original vintage approach. Judy Jo was super accommodating and allowed us to use all parts of her barn.
Our color scheme was beautiful bright blues with hints of burgundy and a little bit of orange. This was brought to life with the amazing flowers that were designed by Florissmo in Jefferson City MO. They made our vision a reality with the gorgeous hanging bouquet and a perfect centerpiece. Thanks to Stacey we also got to take some beautiful shots with a unique broach bouquet.
All of the rentals came from A-1 Party and Event Rental in Columbia MO. Elizabeth was so great to work with and helped me select the perfect items to keep everything matching but still bold.
The unique stationery was created by The Ink Cafe in Columbia MO. I had sent Christy our vision board and she created the absolute perfect invitation and menus. She is great to work with and will bring you ideas that are even better than you originally envisioned.
The beautiful models were Della Walker, Hope Hollering and Raj. Who's perfect makeup was done by Maxx Payne at MakeupbyMaxx and their amazing hair was done by Della Walker. SERIOUSLY check out that braid!
When we were all finished shooting we got to enjoy these super cute cookies by Cookie Creations by Laura which are not only beautiful but tasted amazing! We also got to have some of this gorgeous cake that Allison of Allison's Pastry Shop made to perfectly match our style!
Not to forget, these gorgeous photos that you are looking at are from Amber Koelling Photography! I am not only lucky enough to call her my friend but also family! She is helping me grow my business one beautiful photo at a time! She manages to capture your raw and most beautiful moments. I am so thankful I get to work with someone who is so passionate and helps capture all of my hard work in her beautiful photos!

Well, this Planner's wedding definitely wasn't what I had expected! If you would have asked me 4 years ago what I thought it would be like I would have said huge, planned out to a 'T' and every little detail flows together seamlessly. Just as you would expect a wedding planners wedding to be! I thought we would spend 1+ years planning everything down to the smallest of details but to my surprise we did absolutely nothing. I planned not a single aspect of the entire wedding!
We got engaged and began attempting to plan a little get-together somewhere simple a courthouse or something similar. but if you have read my previous post you know that my Mother-in-law took it into her hands and threw together a beautiful ceremony in a week! ONE WEEK!
It was amazing, everything took place in our families back yard. They have a gorgeous piece of land and a lake with a little dock. She decorated with baby's-breath, hand made decorations and put some chairs on the dock, It was just big enough for everyone to gather and us to hold the ceremony.
After the ceremony we all went up to the house and had bbq, buffet style on the porch. It was simple and elegant yet rustic and cozy. It was everything we knew we wanted on a much more realistic scale for our budget and time frame!
Allowing someone else to take care of the details was something I never thought I could do. Although it really proved to me how important getting a planner can be. We got to sit back and be excited instead of the typical stressed out/panic! She did every little detail from decorating to invites to day of coordinating! Rather than running around trying to make sure everyone knows where to be and what to do, we just enjoyed every moment of the day.
Even though the wedding wasn't what I thought it would be, it was perfect for us! The cherry on top was the learning experience it gave me. I realized how valuable getting a planner really is!! I now direct my focus on not only planning the wedding (obviously) but making sure the little hiccups are smoothed out before hand! and any unavoidable inconvenience that occurs during the wedding, is gone unnoticed by the couple to be sure to keep them as relaxed as possible so they can sit back and enjoy the day!!
My first professional planning was for an amazing couple on the coast of Nova Scotia. I met them when I was waitressing at a small cafe in town. As soon as they got engaged I knew I had to help in any way I could. I wanted to do anything to make their day special and stress free.
We worked together on everything! The whole family was involved. It was so wonderful to see everyone coming together to make their day perfect.
We went with a rustic theme. It started with a boat ride from the ceremony to the reception, a buffet dinner made up of old classics challenged by another style with a twist, and polish it off with a folk band. It was simple and beautiful.
Working with them made me realize even more that this is what I wanted to be doing. I want to be a part of making someones fairy tale come to life. Whether I am sticking stamps or taming a crowd, this is where I want to be. Weddings are filled with happiness and excitement! Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?!
Check out the rest of the photos in my portfolio!
Thanks N+A for welcoming me and allowing me to be a part of your special day!
